The Stand
Ughhh..., not my cup of tea. Sorry to all King's fans. The book, writing style, theme isn't simply for me. Now I need to rest from King and grab something lighter.
Disgrace
One of my favorite books - touching but lil bit harsh; on love but not sweet; full of emotions and overwhelming but not shallow.

Nigella Express: 130 Recipes for Good Food, Fast
I love to read, watch and eat with Nigella Lawson. She is absolutely awesome!! her style, way of describing food and cooking makes my mouth water!! I've tried some of her recipes and they're easy to prepare, tasty and what is most important NOT time consuming. Excellent! And bon appetit !! : )
Veronika Decides to Die: A Novel of Redemption
This my favorite Coelho's book. It's surprising, compelling. Just great ! Highly recommend.
The Witch of Portobello: A Novel (P.S.)
All Coelho's books are just marvelous. His way of transferring real-life problems into a fiction with a fable-like background and surprising plot is amazing. I adore his individual style and way of presenting reality. The world is not dull any more when you read this. And what is excellent you can find answers to your own life questions and problems too. His sense of sensitivity is enormous and I have always appreciated this kind of approach. A true God in the world of spiritual, fable-like, social and moral stories.
Multiple Bles8ings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets
:) A funny story but sometimes really helpful. Amazing couple which instead of three kids (as they wanted to have only one more after the twins) received eight, 8 !!! Can you imagine that ?? It's amazing how organized they are and how they deal with whole of that situation. Well, it must have been hard, since Jon and Kate split. but I'm still a great fun of both of them and their sweet kids :) I love the show too, by the way :)
Borderless Beckett / Beckett sans frontières. (Samuel Beckett Today/ Aujourd'hui)
Coetzee's books present a great insight into peoples emotions, past, experiences, social problems and solutions, sometimes not so easy. Here, a man after an accident lost his leg- now he has to change his entire world, his perspective and way of life-but he doesn't want to do that. He loved his previous life, his women and way of being. It's not easy, the help comes from a woman who I, i must confess, hated at the beginning but as the plot evolved I changed my mind. An excellent novel, touching and full of true emotions.
What Not to Wear
Women rock!!!! :) That statement is so true with them :) They help other women to feel better, more women-like, more feminine, sexy, outgoing and open-minded. Maybe it seems as an easy thing to do but in fact they have to deal with many psychological barriers and overcome them. nice to read and watch. the show is excellent ad it it has already lasted for such a long time :) Way to go girls :)
